hello!

I’m Mariko

Professional Development Coach

“If you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.”

— Lilla Watson

I help women of color rewrite their limited beliefs so they can imagine and create the change they want in their lives and careers.

Coaching gives you

Time for you to focus on your goals. Your desires. Your vision for your career and your life.

Space for you to process, learn, reflect, think, and feel whatever it is you need a safe space for.

Support for whatever you are going through no matter how big or small.

Holistic growth that integrates physical, spiritual, emotional, and professional growth.

Power. Coaching is different than what you might have experienced before because it’s not therapy and it’s not consulting. I won’t diagnose or heal you or tell you what to do.

Imagine being supported. Imagine being centered, seen, heard, AND developed. Imagine being able to grow in a safe space.

What might become possible if you had that?

Is this you?

Are you yearning to have a bigger impact and a more balanced life, but keep getting stuck in old patterns?

Have you tried to change but keep hitting systemic and interpersonal barriers that feel impossible to break through?

Are you ready to invest in yourself and believe you are worthy of that investment?

If this is you, then we might be a good fit.

I can help you feel empowered to make change in your life and career. And with support, you can make realistic plans, overcome barriers, and take action to get you closer to the life you want.

And no, we won’t solve racism, or sexism or dismantle every system that wasn’t made for us in one coaching session (or even three!)

But you CAN mend from the racial trauma that holds you back, you CAN reclaim your power and your energy so that it serves you and your community, and you CAN resist by choosing to value and trust yourself.
